Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier (R-Cumberland) will host a Job and Government Services Fair for residents of the 88th District. This event is designed for local employers, job seekers, and state agencies to discuss employment opportunities and state services.
The fair is scheduled for Thursday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mechanicsburg First Church of God Community Center, located at 201 E. Green St. in Mechanicsburg.
Delozier explained the purpose of the event: “I am excited to once again partner with local employers and state agency representatives to highlight available job opportunities, as well as services around our community.” She noted that it offers “a one-stop shop for job seekers and constituents looking to obtain help with state services, like those offered by the state Treasury, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Public Utility Commission, and more.”
The event aims to facilitate engagement between attendees and state agencies, which will provide services such as searching for unclaimed property and assistance with veterans’ benefits and utilities.
