On November 30, Sen. Ward announced the opening of several new businesses in Westmoreland County. She stated, “Great to see six new businesses opening their doors in Westmoreland County! Continuing her focus on state policy, Ward addressed funding increases for veterans and military affairs in Pennsylvania’s upcoming budget. On December 1, she posted, ” The 2025-26 state budget increases funding for PA Military & Veterans Affairs by 6.6%, ensuring key services are protected while being fiscally responsible. Proud to support a budget that honors service and respects taxpayers. #PASenate”.
On December 2, Ward recognized charitable efforts within the state during Giving Tuesday. She wrote, “Giving Tuesday is a great opportunity to recognize the generosity found in Pennsylvania communities.
