On April 10, McCormick responded to an incident in Philadelphia involving a parking garage collapse. He expressed condolences and support for those affected: “Terrible news out of South Philly. One life was lost, and two people are still unaccounted for after yesterday’s parking garage collapse in Philadelphia. Dina and I are praying for the workers, their families awaiting answers, and the brave first responders on scene.”
