Senator Dave McCormick, a U.S. Senator representing Pennsylvania, has recently shared updates on his official X (formerly Twitter) account regarding local sports leadership, bipartisan cooperation, and healthcare reform.
On December 8, 2025, McCormick welcomed a new figure to the state’s collegiate sports scene by posting: “Congratulations and welcome to Pennsylvania @CoachMC_PSU! We Are!”
The following day, he highlighted efforts to collaborate across party lines for the benefit of his constituents. In a post dated December 9, 2025, McCormick stated: “During my campaign I promised to work with anyone to get things done for Pennsylvania. This is exactly what I’ve been doing with my colleague and friend @SenFettermanPA. While we disagree on a lot, we find commonsense ways we can work together to benefit all Pennsylvanians.”
Later that same day, McCormick addressed national healthcare policy in another tweet: “Obamacare failed to provide better: Accessibility Affordability Quality Care America deserves better. It’s time to reform this program with more choice, transparency, and competition. That’s how we can help lower consumer costs and secure a healthier future for all” His comments reflect ongoing debates in Congress about the effectiveness of the Affordable Care Act and proposals for its reform.
McCormick’s remarks come as part of his broader platform focused on state issues such as education and bipartisanship in government. The senator has emphasized working with colleagues from both parties on legislation aimed at improving conditions for Pennsylvanians.
