On December 12, Senator McCormick wrote about his collaboration with Senate Republicans and former President Trump: “Great to talk with @BreitbartNews’ Alex Marlow about how @SenateGOP, along with President Trump, are committed to working together to ease the burden for working families. We’ve made good progress, but there’s still more work to do.”
Later that day, he commented on U.S. foreign policy regarding the Houthis in Yemen: “In addition to @POTUS’s move to redesignate the Houthis as a Foreign Terrorist Organization and our efforts to maintain pressure on Iran, this bipartisan bill keeps Houthi terrorism on the global agenda and ensures America leads international efforts to steadily increase pressure”. The U.S. government has previously designated the Houthis as a terrorist organization in response to attacks in the Red Sea and their ties with Iran.
On December 13, McCormick highlighted educational reform during a school visit: “School choice has the power to transform the future of our county. During a recent visit to St. Helena–Incarnation School in Philadelphia, I saw firsthand how access to the right educational environment can change a child’s life — both inside the classroom and after school. When”. The senator’s advocacy aligns with ongoing national debates over expanding school choice programs.
