Senator Dave McCormick has recently highlighted a range of legislative and economic developments in Pennsylvania through his social media posts.
On December 2, 2025, McCormick wrote about a recent meeting with representatives from PPL Corporation: “Proud to meet with @PPLCorp’s team yesterday to discuss the steps needed to lower energy costs for Pennsylvanians. Our conversation also focused on grid reliability, permitting reform, the current state of our energy infrastructure, and addressing the rising demand of power.”
The following day, December 3, he commented on technological advancements in the state: “Excited to hear that Waymo will be expanding to Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, especially with the critical role that @CarnegieMellon has played in the creation of autonomous vehicles. Great to see next generation innovation coming to our Commonwealth.” Waymo’s decision follows years of research and collaboration with academic institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University in developing autonomous vehicle technologies.
On December 4, Senator McCormick addressed housing policy: “The affordable housing crisis is one of Pennsylvania’s most urgent challenges, which is why I’m proud to support the bipartisan ROAD to Housing Act. This vital legislation passed the Senate Banking Committee unanimously, and it’s time to push it over the finish line.” The ROAD to Housing Act aims at alleviating pressures within Pennsylvania’s housing market by increasing access and affordability for residents.
These updates reflect ongoing legislative efforts and economic changes affecting Pennsylvania’s infrastructure, technology sector, and housing market. McCormick serves as U.S. Senator representing Pennsylvania.
