Senator Dave McCormick, a U.S. Senator representing Pennsylvania, recently shared a series of posts on social media highlighting key economic and technological developments in his state.
On July 16, 2025, McCormick posted about workforce development and the skilled trades, writing, “It was great having you in Pittsburgh, Mike! Thank you for your continued commitment to building a strong workforce, promoting the skilled trades, and being a voice for working families in Pennsylvania and across America. “
Later that day, he commented on the intersection of energy policy and artificial intelligence at a recent event: “The Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit showcased how Pennsylvania is the crossroads between energy dominance and AI technology. The U.S. must win in the AI race against China — and Pennsylvania is leading the way.”
In another post from July 16, McCormick asserted national progress in energy production by stating, “The Golden Age of Energy Dominance is underway “
Pennsylvania has played an important role as a major producer of natural gas and other forms of energy over recent years. The state’s growing focus on integrating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence into its energy sector reflects broader trends within both regional economic policy and national strategic competition with countries like China.
