On January 1, 2026, McCormick posted a New Year’s message to his state: “Happy New Year, Pennsylvania! Here’s to a new year full of opportunity and possibility. I’m excited to keep working hard and delivering the change our Commonwealth deserves.”
The following day, January 2, he published another post highlighting an important national milestone: “God Bless America! As we near America’s 250th anniversary, we honor and celebrate the values, historic moments, and people that make our nation so great.”
Later on January 2, McCormick referenced a popular annual event in Pennsylvania agriculture with his post: “Looking forward to the 2026 Farm Show and enjoying a delicious shake from @padairymens!”
The United States will commemorate its Semiquincentennial—250 years since its founding—in July 2026. This milestone is expected to be marked by nationwide celebrations recognizing American history and achievements. The Pennsylvania Farm Show is also recognized as one of the largest indoor agricultural expos in the country and is held annually in Harrisburg.
