Census Bureau reports Halifax population was 970 in 2020

Halifax had a population of 970 people in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Dauphin News.

The median age was 33, with 51.8 percent of the total population being female and 48.2 percent male.

The state's total population in 2020 was 12,794,885.
