State Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier (R-Cumberland) is organizing a public safety event for residents of the 88th District on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 4-7 p.m., at Platinum Mitsubishi, located at 6039 Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg. The event will include a child car seat safety check and damaged license plate replacement.

“I am happy to provide an opportunity for my constituents to conveniently replace their damaged and hard-to-read license plates, as well as ensure their child safety seats are properly installed. These are important public safety services. A car seat that is installed correctly can save a child’s life and prevent injuries in the event of an accident,” said Delozier. “Local police and certified car seat technicians will be on hand to facilitate these important services at no cost to the community. I am looking forward to seeing many friends and neighbors take advantage of these important services.”

Individuals planning to participate in the damaged license plate replacement portion of the event will need to bring their unexpired Pennsylvania driver’s license and current vehicle registration.

RSVPs are required for this event. Please call Delozier’s office at 717-761-4665 or visit . Participants should specify which service(s) they plan to utilize at the event when they RSVP.
