Veterans and active duty military personnel from the 88th Legislative District are invited to attend a breakfast hosted by state Representative Sheryl Delozier on May 11. The event, themed "Breaking Barriers," will take place at the First Church of God Community Center in Mechanicsburg, starting at 8 a.m., with doors opening at 7:30 a.m.

Delozier expressed her anticipation for the annual gathering, stating, "Every year, I look forward to hosting this event to honor veterans in the district. This year is no exception, and each year I enjoy seeing the time of fellowship among veterans where they can swap stories and receive the recognition they have earned and deserve. I am once again grateful for the opportunity to say thank you to those who have served our country."

A buffet-style breakfast will be available for attendees and their guests. This year's guest speaker is Lieutenant Colonel Carmona C. March, who began her military career in 1995 as an enlisted member of the United States Army Reserve. LTC March has served in various roles throughout her career as a Logistics Officer and currently studies at the Army War College. Her service includes participation in Operation Iraqi Freedom and support for Operation Allied Refuge/Allies Welcome.
