Senators Camera Bartolotta and Steve Santarsiero are set to introduce a new bill aimed at providing better support for the families of fallen first responders. The announcement will take place on Wednesday, March 26, at 10 a.m. in the Pennsylvania State Capitol Media Center, Harrisburg.

The proposed legislation, known as Bryan’s Law, seeks to offer death benefits related to post-traumatic stress injuries for emergency and law enforcement personnel. This initiative is named in honor of Bryan Gray, a Pennsylvania State Trooper and former Green Beret who died by suicide due to the burdens associated with his role as a first responder.

For more information about the event or the bill itself, interested parties can contact Katrina Hanna at 717-787-1463 from Senator Bartolotta's office or Beth Marshall at 215-497-9490 from Senator Santarsiero's office.
