Harrisburg University of Science and Technology enrolls 985 undergrads

At Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, 89 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Harrisburg enrolled 4,803 students in fall 2018, including 985 in undergraduate and 3,818 in graduate programs, data shows. 1.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

58 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 39 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (41 percent) and white (39 percent).
