6 percent of Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Harrisburg students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 6 percent of Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Harrisburg students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Harrisburg has 4,191 undergraduate students, of which 61 percent are men and 39 percent are women, and a total student body of 4,933 students. Of these students, 174 men and 121 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Harrisburg with the most participants are soccer (67), baseball (40) and track and field, indoor (34).
