The District's Special Education Department is hosting its second Parent Information Session of the 2022-2023 school year on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.
During the session, families can select to attend one, 60 minute or two, 30 minute breakout sessions.
BREAKOUT SESSION OPTIONS
AAC Device Training: Learn how to utilize your child's AAC device with a District speech clinician. (1 Hour)
Dealing with Student Behaviors at Home: Strategies and tips for parents and families. (30 Minutes)
Dyslexia and Reading: Dyslexia defined and reading instruction. (30 Minutes)
Library Resources: Learn about the resources available to your child. (30 Minutes)

Special Education Department Winter Parent Information Session
Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
at the Administration Center located at 507 Fishing Creek Road in Lewisberry
Childcare will be available.
If the parking lot in front of the building is full, please go around to the back and park behind the building in the lower lot. From the rear parking area, walk up the long sidewalk to the Board Room entrance.
All West Shore families are invited to attend; however, to assist us in our planning for the evening, we kindly ask that you RSVP by Thursday, January 12.

The overall purpose of the event is to support our students and their families, and to improve the school-home relationship for all students, but especially those identified for special education services.
