A grant of $148,255 has been awarded to Greenlight Operation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of human trafficking. The funding will be used to purchase vehicles for transporting these individuals to essential appointments, such as counseling and therapy sessions. This announcement was made by the Office of Representative Joe Kerwin (R-Dauphin).

The grant is provided through the Commonwealth Financing Authority and is funded by slot machine gaming revenues rather than tax dollars. Greenlight Operation, based in Camp Hill, focuses on combating human trafficking through educational initiatives and offers restoration services to women who have experienced sex trafficking.

In 2025, the organization plans to open a six-bed home in Dauphin County designed to offer a supportive environment for women rebuilding their lives. Jordan Pine, president and CEO of Greenlight Operation, stated that "adding vehicle transportation to our services will help greatly with appointments, group activities, outreach to additional survivors and even driving lessons." Pine expressed gratitude for the advocacy efforts of Rep. Joe Kerwin's office in securing this grant.
