Senator Camera Bartolotta is collaborating with Pennsylvania Women Work to host a Career Kick-Start event on May 28. The event will take place at the Frank Sarris Public Library in Canonsburg from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The initiative aims to help women realize and potentially exceed their professional aspirations. "It's powerful to see women take such an important step to realizing their professional potential and even exceeding what they thought was possible," said Bartolotta. She emphasized the positive impact that the knowledge gained from Career Kick-Start can have, describing it as "truly transformational."

Participants in the event will have the opportunity to learn how to identify and articulate their professional skills and strengths, both in resumes and interviews. Additionally, they will receive guidance on job searching and applications, have access to employment opportunities, obtain free professional headshots, and meet individually with career coaches to refine their resumes.

A previous participant, Tina Kreuzer, shared, "After attending the program, I saw a two-fold increase in responses to my resume, leading to more interviews and ultimately multiple job offers. The result – I transitioned to a new career in an incredibly competitive job market. I wholeheartedly endorse this program because it is comprehensive, practical and incredibly encouraging."

Registration for the event is online at www.pawomenwork.org/event/career-kick-start, and interested individuals are advised to register soon, as space is limited. For further inquiries, they can contact 412-742-4362.
