More Than $300,000 Awarded to Local Projects

Two projects in Dauphin County have been awarded a total of $330,000 in state grant funding from the Commonwealth Financing Agency (CFA), according to a recent announcement by state Rep. Joe Kerwin (R-Dauphin).

The Dauphin Middle Paxton Joint Park Authority will receive $250,000 for the renovation of the community pool in Dauphin Borough. The funding will be used to improve the facilities and enhance the overall experience for residents.

In addition, West Hanover Township will receive $80,000 for a study aimed at establishing a trail network throughout the township. This study will help determine the best route to connect various outdoor recreation sites and increase accessibility for local residents.
