The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, known as THON, achieved a new fundraising milestone in 2025 by raising $17,737,040.93 for Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital. This amount surpasses the previous year's total of $16,955,683.63 by over $780,000.

The event took place from February 21 to February 23 at the Bryce Jordan Center. Over 700 students participated by dancing and standing without sleep for a continuous 46 hours.

THON celebrated its 53rd anniversary this year with the theme “A Home For Hope.” The theme reflects the commitment and support shared among participants and families in their mission to combat childhood cancer.

THON is recognized as the world’s largest student-run philanthropy. Each year it raises substantial funds for Four Diamonds, which are used to finance pediatric cancer research and provide support to children and families affected by childhood cancer. Since its inception in 1977, THON has raised more than $236 million for Four Diamonds.
