The golf teams at Delone Catholic High School in McSherrystown and Our Lady of Lourdes Regional School in Coal Township are celebrating district championships after winning their respective tournaments in recent weeks.
Delone Catholic captured the District 3 2A team golf championship on October 7. The Squires teamed up to shoot a 342, topping both Newport and Berks Catholic by four strokes at Honey Run Golf Club.
In the District 4 2A team championship, the Red Raiders of Lourdes shot a 373, besting Central Columbia by six shots to win the title at Williamsport Country Club on September 29.
The PIAA Golf Championships are October 17-19 at the Penn State Golf Courses in State College.
