State Representative Sheryl M. Delozier of Cumberland County is extending her district office services to the Mechanicsburg Senior Center through an initiative called "District Office on the Go!" The event aims to provide assistance with the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program and help residents search for unclaimed property. Additionally, attendees will have access to state-related information pertinent to seniors in Cumberland County, state tax forms, applications for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), and resources on fraud, identity theft, and wills.

"To better serve the constituents who utilize senior centers in the 88th District, my office is taking some of its state services on the road," stated Delozier. "I am looking forward to connecting with my constituents at this free service event."

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5, from 10 a.m. to noon at Mechanicsburg Place Senior Center located at 97 W. Portland St., Mechanicsburg.

Apart from this mobile service, residents of the 88th District can visit Delozier’s office in Lower Allen Township for further assistance with filing applications for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program. Dedicated hours for this assistance are set for Friday, February 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Constituents planning to use these services are encouraged to check online for a list of required documents needed for filing. For additional inquiries about "District Office on the Go," individuals can contact Delozier’s district office at 717-761-4665.
