Christmas Bazaars

Browse crafters and vendors, take advantage of holiday shopping, and enjoy delicious homemade food at the many Christmas bazaars and craft shows in the coming weeks. Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in McSherrystown will have its Christmas bazaar on Saturday, November 5 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in the school hall. There will be filled raffle baskets, decorated wreaths and trees, baked goods, outdoor wood items, crafts and themed basked for children and adults.

The Council of Catholic Women of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Waynesboro will have its annual Christmas Bazaar and Craft Show on Saturday, November 5 from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. in the school hall. There will be raffles, a bake sale, a wide variety of crafts and a great soup and breadstick lunch.

The Council of Catholic Women of Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Harrisburg will have their annual Craft Show on Saturday, November 5 in the gym. Stop by to visit the many vendors any time between 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. The kitchen will be serving breakfast, lunch and snacks.

The Council of Catholic Women of St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Annville will hold a Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, November 12 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Coffee and donuts will be available for breakfasts, soup and sandwiches for lunch. Baked goods and hand-made items for decorating and gift giving will fill the social hall.

St. Joseph Parish in Hanover will have its holiday bazaar on Saturday, November 12 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in the social hall. Breakfast and lunch will be served, and there will be more than 50 vendors along with baked goods, raffles and Grannie’s Attic. All profits benefit the parish.

St. Francis Xavier Parish in Gettysburg will have its gift fair and holiday bazaar on Saturday, November 12 at St. Francis Xavier Center from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Local vendors, crafters and artisans, vintage collectibles, holiday gifts, bake sale, door prizes, raffles and more. Call 717-309-2482 or visit www.sfxpccw.org for details. Xavier Cafe serving American & Latino breakfast & lunch menu prepared by our Hispanic Community. Free parking and admission, fully accessible.

St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Lancaster will hold its Christmas bazaar, November 12 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and November 13 after the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Masses in the Resurrection Catholic School cafeteria at 521 E. Orange St., Lancaster. The theme this year is “I’ll Be Gnome for Christmas.” Bazaar includes high-valued raffle items, wreath and garden, trim-a-tree, crafts, religious items, gift shop, children’s crafts and gift baskets. The popular jewelry table features items for just a few dollars. Raffle items are valued at a minimum $50 and include electronics, tools, crystal ware, gift baskets, gift cards, gift cards to local restaurants and businesses and more. Tickets are on sale after Masses at St. Anthony during October. Raffles are drawn at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 13. No need to be present to win. Food is offered throughout, including egg rolls, soup and sandwiches, and the goodies table full of treats. Contact Livia Riley at 717-299-6617 for information or to buy raffle tickets.

Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in Elysburg will have its Christmas bazaar on Saturday, December 10, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at the parish. There will be crafters, vendors, food, a cookie walk and bake sale, a basket raffle, holly bread sale and a visit from Santa. The parish is still accepting crafters and vendors for the event.
