House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail (R-Beaver/Washington) and Rep. Eric Nelson (R-Hempfield), along with other lawmakers, will host a hearing titled “Opportunity Lost: Bureaucracy’s Battle Against Fracking.” The event aims to address the impact of policies that threaten to eliminate thousands of jobs, leave families without sustainable incomes, and push the energy grid to the brink of failure.

The hearing will spotlight bureaucratic hurdles faced by Pennsylvania companies and emphasize the urgent need to defend energy independence and protect the livelihoods of Pennsylvanians.

Key figures at the hearing include Michael Hillenbrand, CEO & President of Huntley and Huntley; Jeff Nobers, Executive Director of Pittsburgh Works Together; and local representatives from the manufacturing and agriculture industries.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 17, at 2 p.m., at the Hempfield Township Municipal Building in Greensburg, PA. Barring any technical difficulties, it will be streamed online.
