State Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier | Pennsylvania 88th Legislative District
Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier of Cumberland County is organizing a Job and Government Services Fair for residents of the 88th Legislative District. The event, designed to connect local employers, job seekers, and state agencies, will take place on Thursday, March 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mechanicsburg First Church of God Community Center.
Delozier expressed enthusiasm about the event: “I am excited to partner with local employers and state agency officials to highlight opportunities and services in our community.” She emphasized that it will be a comprehensive resource for job seekers and constituents needing assistance with state services such as those provided by the Department of Aging and Treasury.
State agencies present at the fair will offer various services including help with prescriptions through PACE and PACENET programs, locating unclaimed property, veterans benefits assistance, and information regarding the Clean Slate law which affects employment-seeking individuals.
